The Jio Fiber Preview offer was shortly listed on the Reliance Jio website. However, it was taken down because the reveal was probably an accident. The plans and pricing for the Jio Fiber Preview, and with a required security deposit was revealed in the post.

Jio GigaFiber Preview Offer & Plan Details

The Jio Fiber Preview Plan consists of a 100GB of data at 100Mbps speed for three months. A refundable installation charge cum security deposit is required which will be refunded after the three months.

A Jio Fiber promotional flyer leaked earlier had the following information.

Jio Fiber Welcome Offer (Ultra-High-Speed Internet Service)
  • Free 100Mbps connection with monthly 100GB data (Speed post 100GB data will be 1 Mbps)
  • Zero charges for 3 months

  • Ahmedabad

What hardware is required for Reliance Jio Fiber?

According to the details on the flyer, Reliance will be providing their own router what will have Wi-Fi. You are free to use your own router, but you cannot directly use or connect it to the fiber cable that will be delivered to your place. You will have to connect your personal router to the one provided by Reliance.

Also, the router is expected to provide dual channel 802.11AC Wi-Fi connectivity. However, the newest standard, 802.11AD may not be available.

Jio is also providing their services to offices, organizations and residential complexes, making a single internet connectivity available over a large area using repeaters and routers. This makes Jio Fiber a good option if you plan to share the connection with others. However, there is a cap on the data volume that you can use.

What are the plans and pricing after the Jio Fiber Preview offer?

Reliance is offering their Jio Fiber plans based on either volume of data needed, or the speed of the connectivity. There are only a few plans that do not have a data cap. All other plans have limited data usage, even though it is very high for homes or small offices. Here is a list of their plans.
